After School Club

Attendance

Our students have had a fantastic few weeks staying active and getting creative! Highlights include:

  • 🏆 Sports: Building teamwork and fitness through fun games.

  • 🍳 Cooking: Whipping up tasty treats and learning kitchen basics.

  • 🎨 Crafts: Unleashing creativity with hands-on art projects.

đź“… Dates for Your Diary

  • Wednesday 3rd June: Tropical World (Year 2) Our Year 2 explorers will be heading to Leeds to discover exotic animals and immersive rainforest habitats.

  • Wed 10th & Thurs 11th June: Go Ape (Year 6) As a special reward, Year 6 will be taking to the trees for a high-ropes adventure! Please check which day your child is scheduled to attend.

  • Monday 22nd June: Thornton Hall Country Park (Reception) Our youngest learners will enjoy a hands-on day at the farm, meeting animals and enjoying the fresh country air.

  • Wednesday 1st July: Whole School Transition Day A big day for everyone! Students will spend the day in their new classrooms meeting their teachers for the next academic year.

  • Thursday 2nd July: Beach Visit (Year 1) Year 1 will be heading to the coast for a day of sandcastle building and seaside fun.

  • We have lots of other exciting trips and rewards planned for the rest of the term. Keep an eye out for these on social media, Arbor and newsletters. 


Summer Highlights & Sports

In addition to our trips, we have some fantastic events happening on-site:

  • Sports Day: Get ready for a day of competition and school spirit! (Keep an eye on Arbor for specific year-group timings).

  • The Ultimate Rematch: Year 6 will take on the staff in our annual Staff vs. Pupils Rounders Match. Will the teachers hold onto their title this year?

Staying Connected

Staying connected with our school has never been easier! We encourage all families to follow our social media pages to keep up to date with the fantastic learning taking place in school, as well as trips, events and enrichment opportunities available to our pupils.

Our pages are a great way to celebrate achievements, share important reminders and give you a glimpse into daily school life.
