Learning

This week all of school have been focussing on their handwirting. We are learning to write neatly. There are lots of activities we do to help us with our handwriting. This includes:

• Play-Doh and Clay: Roll, squeeze, and pinch dough to build hand strength and finger dexterity. You can also use dry-erase markers on Play-Doh mats or form snakes to shape letters.

• Scissor Practice: Cut paper into strips or snip shapes. This action exercises the exact small hand muscles used to control a pencil.

• Q-Tip Painting: Dip cotton swabs into paint and dot them along letter outlines to practice precision and pencil-like grips.

Try some of these activities at home too!

Staying Connected

Staying connected with our school has never been easier! We encourage all families to follow our social media pages to keep up to date with the fantastic learning taking place in school, as well as trips, events and enrichment opportunities available to our pupils.

Our pages are a great way to celebrate achievements, share important reminders and give you a glimpse into daily school life.

Please also share our pages with grandparents, carers and other family members so they can enjoy and celebrate the children’s experiences alongside you.
